NeighborLink Recap March 25.

GGC This month for Neighborlink, we made bathroom kits for familes that are coming out of Shelters, most notably the Brenda Shelter. We set up tables that had large containers filled with bars of soap, tooth paste, lotions and toothbrushes. For each kit we put toilet paper, lotions, soap, toothbrushes, toothpastes and body wash. We made roughly between 50-75 kits. These kits will definitly help families who are looking for a brand new start.

It was a good experience for our Church because we were able to give back to the community and help those in need. It also gave us time to hang out with each other, meet new people, share some laughs and work together as a team. Another thing I loved about last night was that the atmosphere was so laid back- everyone was so relaxed; joking with one another. It was a good atmosphere to work in.

I want to thank Neighborlink and everyone that volunteered. We are coming back again next month! So I hope to see you there!

James 2:17-"In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead".

Get involved in the community. All Roads Lead Home.
As homeless families leave the streets and are moved into more stable housing, they need help establishing themselves in their new communities. All Roads Lead Home provides meaningful opportunities for people like our church to share the power of friendship and love by helping them adjust to their new environments. We may be doing things like: providing families essential needs like housewares and furniture; giving rides to the grocery store; babysitting kids and most importantly developing friendships. This is a wonderful opportunity to show people that Jesus truly loves them.
